Country scenes are something I like doing a lot, especially with Oils. I love the bursts of sunlight shining through the trees in the distance. There’s nothing like walking through the quiet serenity of a countryside. It calms the mind and fills me with great enthusiasm for painting. A walk is always guaranteed to make me feel creative. My style of painting is one which has developed over time and is still evolving with each new painting. Also I try to capture a sense of realism of being there, without being a slave to photo realism. Its also important to keep pushing the boundaries of what your comfortable with, rather than settle into a formula of what works. Above all I love what I do and enjoy sitting there with brushes in hand creating what I hope to you are beautiful paintings.

All prints are limited editions of 395 and come mounted in a neutral vanilla mount. Framed prints are glazed with acrylic glass and come ready to hang with fixings.
